Jean L. Gratz, 71 of Toledo, OH and formerly of Lambertville, MI, died Tuesday, November 19, 2013 in The Toledo Hospital. Born May 3, 1942 in Toledo, OH, she was the daughter of Edward and Donna (Lininger) Welshans. A graduate of Whitmer High School, she married Ervin W. Gratz on February 7, 1959.
She is survived by her loving husband, Ervin. Children, Cindy (John) Ceravolo, Marjorie (John) Bauer, Lourie Paepke, Jackie (Jim) Biesiada, Daniel (Tammy) Gratz and Charlie Rohtert. Sister, Margaret Houke and 15 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, infant son, Ervin, Jr. and son-in-law, Frederick Paepke.
Visitation will be from 2-8 pm Thursday, November 21, 2013 at the Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith Rd. (at Jackman) Temperance, MI. Graveside services will be Friday, November 22, 2013 at Bedford Memorial Cemetery, M-151 one half mile east of Lewis Avenue, Temperance, MI. Pastor Timothy Loewe, Officiating.
